Get your entries in ASAP if you plan to participate~ Mystery Dungeon: Team sign ups for the summer event will be starting today! You are not obligated to participate, but if you do plan to (and especially if there is a particular team that you want to join), I recommend joining up ASAP. The event will not officially begin for another 2-3 weeks, but discussions for the first mission and the selection of team names are open starting today. Head on over to the Mystery Dungeon forums to join either the Red Rescue Team or the Blue Rescue Team and participate in private team discussions. Also keep in mind that a team may not have more than 3 members over the other team at any time, so once a team has 3 members more than the other, sign-ups for that team are temporarily closed until the other team gains at least one more member. TM Prices: I've increased the prices for TMs a bit. Hopefully this wont discourage you guys from buying them, but at the same time not make you want to give up on your berry collections either? Keep in mind before you buy them that your Pokemon must be of the same type (i.e. fire, ice, grass) as the HM or TM to learn it. For now, if you're unsure of a TM or HM's type, just ask. I'm going to try to add the attack types to the item list later. Also, there is no longer a form to learn attacks. You can teach attacks and use HM/TMs manually through the Party/PC link in your member panel menu. Your Pokemon must also be in your active party in order for them to learn attacks now. Upcoming Summer Event: I'm in the process of planning a summer team event for MissingNO, and hope to have it start some time later this month or early June. So right now, I want to start looking for Team Captains and Lieutenants for the two teams. I'm not totally sure how long the event will last, but it will be at least 1 month, and possibly up to 3. So if you're interested, make sure you're going to have plenty of time throughout the summer to help organize things for your team, as well as some basic HTML knowledge to put a small team page together. Pikachu Colored Pichu: Just letting you guys know that even though it has reached the top of the upcoming list now, I'm holding off on creating the deck. the Pikachu Colored Pichu is, essentially, just a shiny Pichu, and I may add a feature that will allow you guys to find/earn shiny Pokemon in the future via other means. So until I decide what to do with this, the deck will be on hold. Sorry. ^^; Safari Zone: The Safari Zone is now listed under the weekly activities category. However, I've really just put it there to remind you guys to pick up your 8 free Safari Balls every week. :P You can still enter as often as you like. You're also not obligated to use the balls during the same week that you received them- feel free to save them up! I've also bumped up the encounter rate a smidgen, and added a quick guide to the Safari Zone mechanics that you might find helpful. :P Yellow Forest: Just a reminder for those of you with a Pokewalker to get your Yellow Forest by May 5th! :O ... And more?!: I was seriously booked this week. -__-; There were a lot of things that I wanted to have done for this update, but it just didn't happen. However, I'm free for some time this weekend, and so I'm going to try to get everything up then, and I'll update this post later to reflect what I've done~ [ EDITEDITEDIT ] - I've added TMs, and will be adding HMs and even more TMs later. If you're not familiar with how they're used in the games, you use them to manually teach attacks to your Pokemon versus just learning attacks by leveling up. This way, some Pokemon can learn moves that they wouldn't normally learn from level ups. As of now though, you are restricted to using HM/TMs only on Pokemon of a matching type (i.e. Only grass Pokemon can learn Solarbeam), but might change this up somehow later. And you should also know (if you didn't already) TMs are one time use (they'll disappear after you use them), while HMs are unlimited uses. This will be added to the about page later [if I don't forget >__>]. And as a result of the HMs and TMs, you can now teach your Pokemon their attacks through your Party/PC. Notice the shiny new "+ attack" button! xD That's where you'll go to use HM/TMs AND to teach your Pokemon their level-up attacks once you have all of your berries. Yay for more automation~ Andddd The Pokemart now restocks 16 items every day, to make room for the slew of new HM/TM items. :) New Decks: barry, lotad, wigglytuff Freebies: Take two cards from the decks above, limit one card per deck.
