Credits

Below are various websites, TCGs, and people who have helped and inspired us (whether they know it or not) to make MissingNO possible. If you feel like we owe you credit for something (sometimes we forget where we found something, or we don't know where an idea/concept originated from), please let us know. :)

CONTENT

Bulbapedia - "a community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia that is based on the Wiki concept, meaning it may be read and edited by anyone." Bulbapedia is the best source for content. When I need something I go there first, and they usually have what I need. Not only do they offer an endless supply of information, but also many screencaps and TCG cards of Pokemon we used for making our cards.

Serebii - SPP has been around since 1999, and is a great source for anime, games, and TCG information. They have an amazing anime section that includes series information, episode summaries, and pages of screen caps.

Pokemon.Marriland.com - PMC has an amazing Pokedex. It is user-friendly and makes adding information about Pokemon quick and easy. They have been around for almost 10 years, and have a vast amount of Pokemon content.

PokémonIndigo PokéDex - I haven't fully surfed Indigo, but they have a simple, but helpful Pokedex layout and list the basic information of all 493 Pokemon.

GAMES

The Javascript Source - Javascript games.

In the Cards - Slots and Lottery game. Very helpful!!

Virtual Max's Cafe - PuzzleMaker Applet.

IMAGES

Pokémon Valhalla - Valhalla is a Polish Pokemon Fan site created in 2003. We aren't exactly sure what anything on their website says (except that jest might mean images, after googling I've found it simply means "is"...), but they provide great screen caps of old and new episodes of the anime that we have used for making many cards, and without them we probably wouldn't have the less popular pokemon to trade.

Pokemon Elite 2000 - PE2k is a great source for images, sprites, and tcg, anime, and game information. They have an in-depth episode guide, along with a simple Pokedex, and huge sprite resource area.

PocketMonsters - Another great resource for episode guides and screencaps.

Filb.de - Bigger screencaps. :D

PokeBeach - TCG card pictures/scans.

The Spriters Resource - A resource for sprites (imagine that)! Most of our item sprites came from here.

pokesho.com - Custom overworld sprites! ^^

Coronis - Several custom sprites

L-mon - Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy sprites

INSPIRATION & IDEAS

So Magical TCG - So Magical (a Disney themed TCG) is owned by Icera and is (in my opinion) one of the most unique, inventive, and (most importantly) fun TCGs out there right now.

Divinity TCG - Another great TCG, owned and maintained by Trinity. Divinity's cards feature bishounen characters from various anime, manga, and games. The site is developed and well kept, something that I truly admire since I can only imagine the amount of work that must go into keeping it up.

Neopets - Possibly the most ingenious and addicting browser game to date. Inspiration for random events (and possibly some other things that I can't think of right now) comes from here.
